Steve R. Ryherd

Mr. Ryherd has a broad background in building systems engineering with a passion for acoustics relating to the built environment and community noise. His acoustical experience focuses on noise control, vibration, and architectural acoustics. He also draws on mechanical systems design experience for hospitals and justice facilities from his time at HDR, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. He became a consultant with Arpeggio in 2007.

Mr. Ryherd holds a Master’s degree in Applied Acoustics from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska. Mr. Ryherd is a LEED accredited professional (LEED AP), an engineer in training (EIT), and a member of the Acoustical Society of America with involvement in the technical committees on architectural acoustics and noise.
